I'm delighted to announce that we have a new artist joining us on the website as of this week. It's a lady who's work I have admired for a long time as she has such a bold, vibrant style. Her work never ceases to make me smile! Lynne D Jones is a contemporary landscape artist who was also a co-director of Undegun Arts in Wrexham, North Wales during 2019. Her inspiration comes from the rediscovery of places she visited with her Dad as a child. Her father, though now in the late stages of dementia, was passionate about Welsh history and folk tales. The stories he told were strewn with magic, ruined castles, and larger than life landscapes. Painting in oils on large canvasses allows Lynne to create windows to wonderful Welsh landscapes that she loves so much.

Lynne used to live near to Princes Risborough in Bucks, so if you are local you might also recognise a few Chiltern views in her portfolio such as the Dashwood Mausoleum and St Lawrence's Church on West Wycombe Hill, The Lee and the Icknield Way.
