Why One Wheeler then?

A short bio...

I’m an artist and photographer living in Buckinghamshire. I have a passion for fast bikes, fast dogs, slow canals, boating, rivers and wildlife in general.

For over 20 years, the majority of my working life, I worked in the motorcycle industry promoting products for trade distributors, major manufacturers and also designing promotional literature, writing copy and taking photographs for bike magazines and websites. I produced catalogues, advertising material, logos, designed and organised exhibition stands and photographed bikes and riders in action as well as various products for promotion. I also spent a fair bit of spare time setting up and running one of the biggest websites for Supermoto fans in the UK, a sport in which both myself and my partner have had much fun over the past 15 or so years and met some wonderful people all over the world.

In 2016, after a serious illness and associated treatment knocked the stuffing out of me for 18 months, I decided to take a step back from full time work and along with my long suffering other half we moved away from the big smoke to a more rural village in the Chilterns. Here I can spend more time doing the things that I enjoy such as drawing, shooting animals (with a camera, not a 12 gauge, which seems to be the more popular passtime around these parts) and getting out and about in the fresh air enjoying the local countryside with our 2 rescue lurchers, who, luckily for the local wildlife, couldn't catch a cold.
