Meet some of my fellow artists...
Lynne D Jones - Artist
Lynne D Jones is a contemporary landscape artist & was also a co-director of Undegun Arts in Wrexham, North Wales during 2019. Her inspiration comes from the rediscovery of places she visited with her Dad as a child.
Her father, though now in the late stages of dementia was passionate about Welsh history and folk tales. The stories he told were strewn with magic, ruined castles, and larger than life landscapes. Painting in oils on large canvasses allows Lynne to create windows to wonderful Welsh landscapes that she loves so much.

Alan Taylor - Artist
Dr. Alan Taylor AGSA lives in Yarm on Tees with his family and Irish rescue dog Monty. He is passionate about animal welfare, a passion he shares with his wife and is a member of the Association of Animal Artists. His love for art first began as a teenager when he experimented with oil paints, but he left this behind to pursue a research career in science. Many years later, with a career change, he found himself teaching concept art for characters for computer games. He enjoyed watching his students develop and was so impressed with their drawing skills and imagination that it inspired him to develop his own graphite drawing skills which then led to colour pencil drawing and more recently pastel painting. He loves using the medium of pastels or colour pencils to capture the diverse colours and character of animal wildlife and finds inspiration for his subjects from countryside walks both at home and abroad together with animal documentaries. Recently he completed a commission for a book cover illustration, a magical raven, for an established North East author.

Jill Welham - Artist, Photographer and Printmaker
Jill Welham is a print maker, photographer and artist, based in North Yorkshire. Most recently she has been experimenting with cyanotype printing. Jill creates unique prints using wet cyanotype, a modified version of the 19th century photographic printing process, introducing moisture onto the treated paper before exposure.
The chemical reaction produces interesting fluid patterns and colours not normally present in a traditional cyanotype print.
In February 2019 one of Jill's wet cyanotype prints was chosen as overall winner of the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition.
