Welcome to The Artcasts website, I’m an artist and photographer based in Bucks with over 30 years experience.

I'm fascinated by cameras from the 1800s to the modern era. I create tintypes (silver based photographs on black metal), ambrotypes (images on glass), film and paper negatives. I also enjoy alternative processes such as cyanotype and lumen printing. When I'm not buying and selling old cameras & lenses (1800-present day) I offer photo re-touching, negative and slide scanning and graphic design services. Brochures, adverts, flyers etc. I can also provide various photography services.

Lately I have been doing auction valuations and working on more 'traditional' camera auctions. I am keen to assist anyone would like to learn more about photography, be it digital, 35mm, 120, 4x5 or with an old quarter plate bellows camera.
